What is Corruption(*s)? Is it digital art? Performance art? Decentralized community organization? An artistic commentary about what plagues the current scene? All of the above? One thing is certain, the Corruption(*s) project by Dom Hofmann is one of the most intriguing ones in web3 right now. And the first deviation—the term used to change the typical Corruption(*s) art piece into more clear ASCII art—was the Wilted Rose. The "rose" has become something of a calling card for Dom in this space; the wilted rose is also the emoji of choice for Dom's UNFINE ART account on Twitter.
Since Dom put Corruption(*s) in the public domain, we thought that the Wilted Rose would make a perfect shirt. The rose for the Corruption(*s) 0x1 deviation, the second artwork in the set, was chosen because of the subtle dark blue on black. And to make the design look better on apparel, the edges of the piece were extended to create more of a square shape.
The Corruption(*s) Wilted Rose Shift will be silk screened on an incredibly soft Alternative Apparel Vintage Keeper. There will not be a white underlay beneath the blue ink, which results in two unique characteristics: (1) the ink will be more subtle rather than "loud" and (2) the shirt will be incredibly soft.
