Eggplant City #1435 was the first ever Blitmap to be burned—this happened on what has been called "Blit Day" which was late in the evening on July 29th. The person who burned it ended up also fractionalizing Warm Vibe Totally and distributed BLITBLIT tokens to each Blitmap holder as a form of atonement.
The lore of Eggplant City was revived when Dom provided the code for Necromint, an Ethereum contract that could "revive" a burned artwork. Blitmap holders quickly minted Eggplant City in droves, creating a sort of "zombie" hoard of this Blitmap.
